It started one dreadfully bleak summer afternoon in Midtown Sacramento, Blake William and Josh Burke were drinking lousy pale ale when Blake interjected for no reason "You know, Scientologists believe that 75 million years ago, an alien ruler named Lord Xenu massacred billions of aliens around Hawaii?"
Burke's completely understandable response being "...what?"
After some research, the 2 began playing folk rags about space aliens and the Sea Org, eventually reworked the material as heavy metal, and an unnecessary rock and roll duo was formed on Teegeeack.
Back then they were calling themselves Lord Xenu & the Thetans. After recording a 3 song demo, the band planned to perform a live show and didn't, because Josh and Blake got this stupid idea that they were artists. Josh formed a goth metal band called In the Silence, and Blake started an experimental/psychedelic rock band called Rain Mirror. In the Silence fell apart and Josh moved to LA, Blake couldn't find a drummer who could put up with his bipolar disorder, so Rain Mirror became fucked up noise-folk only performing about once every few months.
Josh realized that LA is a soul-sucking vacuum, and Blake tried to kill himself after (and sometimes during) every Rain Mirror gig. Josh moved back to Sacramento and has been trying to form an In the Silence lineup ever since. So the two announced that they were reforming the band as Superzapper Recharge to encompass other ridiculous things. The idea was scrapped a month later, and Blake started using this name for his experimental project.
So basically, this band is dead, enjoy the free demo.
